A sweet 7 year old fawn Mastiff came into Mastiff Rescue Oregon Spring of 2008.  In addition to being 40 lbs over weight she tested positive for heart worm.  This diagnosis required significant resources to provide the tests, xrays and medications required to save her life.  HeartGuard treatment is required for the rest of her life so that new worms do not form and it took 9 months for all the adults to die off. During treatment she was taken on short walks limiting running and jumping.

 

 

 As of December 2008 Snuggles weighed in at 119 lbs, off of exercise restriction and heart worm free.  In the Spring of 2009 she found her "forever family" snuggling with them through the rest of her long life due to generous donations.
